Program Spotlight | GWC Library

Welcome to the GWC Library,

where we strive to provide tools for your academic success! We are here to assist students. Whether you need a quiet place to study, help finding credible sources of information, want to reserve a group study room, or need Wi-Fi, computers, or printers, we have these services ready for you!

Resources You Need

Take advantage of our  research databases, research guides, and other e-resources available to all current GWC students. The library provides many online databases with access millions of full-text newspaper and magazine articles, scholarly journals, eBooks, and streaming documentaries and feature film movies. The library also houses an on-site collection of 45,000 print and non-print materials.

Research Help

Librarians can help you start your research, locate information from resources in multiple formats, cite information sources, and use many online resources and services. For immediate research assistance, contact a Librarian at the library’s Reference Desk via the library website’s chat feature.  Online Zoom or in-person research appointments can also be scheduled with a librarian for a future date.

Places to Study, Collaborate, & Discover

Study tables are available throughout the 2nd and 3rd floors for individual and group study. Private group study rooms are available to groups of 2 or more GWC students and may be reserved up to 2 hours per day. Study room reservations can be made a week in advance via the library website. Dry erase markers and calculators are also available at the Public Service Desk for 2-hour loan with a student I. D. card.

Course Reserves (Textbooks)

The library has course-related materials selected by faculty as required and many course textbooks. Course Reserves can be checked-out from our Public Services Desk with a current GWC student identification card for 2 hour, in-library use. (Search Course Reserves)
