Reference

• Librarians can help answer your reference and research questions

• Online catalog for locating books and media

• Periodical databases for locating magazine and newspaper articles

• Reference materials for reference room use

Public Services Desk

• Check out and return books

• Pick up books that are on hold for you

• Student Textbook Reserve (STAR) collection and instructor reserve materials

• Clear library records and pay fines

Group Study/Media Room

• Viewing stations to watch videos and DVDs

• Tables for quiet study and group study rooms

• Listening stations for audiocassettes

• Visual-Tek machine for the vision impaired

• Magazine, newspaper, and journal collection

• Photocopiers, paper cutter, stapler, three-hole punch, and pencil sharpener

General Book Collection

• Books on the second floor are available for check out and can be taken home

• The check out period is three (3) weeks

• Includes an ESL and picture book collection

Things You Should Know

• Copiers are available. Copies are 10 cents a page

• Printouts from the TLC and reference room computers/ page available at the GoPrint station

• Food and drink are not allowed in the library

• When the library is closed, you can use the book return bin, located outside on the wall to the left of the library entrance

• Fines are charged for late books (25 cents/ book/ day) and late reserve materials (25 cents/ item/ hour)
