The library is offering two, independent study, one unit classes that are UC and CSU transferable this semester. Enrollment is open.
In Library 110: Introduction to Library Research, students learn about libraries, computer catalogs, periodical indexes, print resources, and other library resources. Library 100 is offered as an in-person course or in hybrid format. Students have the option to take this course for credit/no credit or for a letter grade.
Library 120: Libraries and the Internet, provides students with an introduction to Internet research, using search engines, virtual libraries, and online databases. Students learn how to use online research tools available in the library with a variety of hand-on activities. The course is offered in an online format only.
