Textbook Collection Reserve

We are excited to announce that the Student Textbook Access Reserve or STAR collection has been a huge success this year. The collection has been very popular with students. Here are the latest statistics for the 2007-2008 school year:

o 3,449 circulations for the academic year (fall 2007 to spring 2008)
o 220 STAR purchased titles
o 128 faculty donated textbook titles (numbers not included in this STAR report)
o 31 titles circulated over 36 times (statistically equals once a week)
o 15.68 was the average number of circulations (which is 3 times the aim of 5 circs)
o 12 titles circulated over 50 times
o 6 titles circulated over 100 times
o Calculus: Single Variable (Math 180) 182 times
o University Physics – 12th edition (Phys 185/280) 144 times
o Biology – 7th edition (Bio 180) 133 times
o Exploring Psychology – 7th edition (Psych 100) 123 times
o Essentials of Sociology: A Down to Earth Approach (Soc 100) 110 times
o Chemistry – 9th edition (Chem 180/185) 105 times
